Using the palettes

You can use the colors and the downloads in your own work, personal or commercial. What you cannot do, like reselling the palette files, is explained in our license, which is part of these terms.

Using the site

Please use the site the way it is meant to be used. You agree not to:

• copy the site, its palettes or its texts in bulk, by hand or with automated tools;
• overload or try to break the site, its generators or its color naming;
• use the site for anything illegal, or to mislead people about where our content comes from.

We may limit or block access for anyone who does.

Color names and descriptions

Some color names, descriptions and meanings are written with the help of artificial intelligence, including the names you request. We review them, but they may not always be perfect, and we may change or remove any of them. A name requested on the site belongs to the site, not to the person who requested it.

Colors on screen

Colors look different from one screen to another, and in print. The codes we give are exact, but what you see may vary with your device, its settings and the paper or material you use.

Our content

The site's design, palettes, names, descriptions, images, pins and code belong to Color Palette Library. A color itself belongs to no one, but our presentation of it does.

The photos our palettes are made from, and the palette images and pins made from them, belong to Color Palette Library or are used with permission. You may not copy, reuse or resell them.

Ads and links

The site shows ads and links to other websites, like Pinterest or the apps we mention. We are not responsible for their content or their practices.

No guarantee

We offer the site and the downloads as they are, for free. We work to keep them accurate and available, but we cannot promise they will always be error free or online. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the site or the files.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you, including Quebec's.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms. The date below shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and of Canada, and any dispute goes before the courts of Quebec, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
